Star Wars Trilogy (VHS) - revised release
This item comes in 2 versions, Silver and Gold. Silver is Wide Screen Format and Gold is Full Screen Format. This is much like the original theatrical version of the Star Wars I saw beginning with Star Wars at Grauman's Chinese Theatre. George Lucas has added additional material to "Dress it up" and better fulfill HIS vision of the saga and it adds some eye candy. If you enjoyed the original, and you are not stuck in time, it will be fun. If you have never seen the saga, it is a great way to start. Enjoy, and get lots of popcorn.

This is a visually stunning movie, Even today. This movie, released originally in 1977 was so far ahead of it's time that it's scary. George Lucas pionerred and created new filming and speacial effects tecnices that are still relivant and still used today. Without the pioneer efforts of this movie most of todays big box office hits wouldn't be possible. This film is fun and action pact, it spawned two sequals, 3 prequals, several made for tv movies and many many cartoon series. + hundreads of books, toys, lunch boxes, underwear, toothbrushed, dog holloween costumes and any other bizarr thing you can tink of... Star wars is one of the greatest movies ever and george lucas is a god!!!

Classic Trilogy digitally cleaned up.
The Good: Classic Star Wars Trilogy cleaned up a bit. The Bad: Since George decided to add content not in the initial releases it seems a bit fake, not the real story or cheapened. It still is a great Trilogy though but not the original.

Good stuff
Had the gold set, so we needed the platinum set! nuff said! Best trilogy ever, not to mention this is the last issue that has the original sebastian shaw! I like the new vader but hayden as a force ghost with the old yoda and kenobi....ehhh...it doesn't work.
