The TDK A33 (the A34 is basically the same thing) I owned is a great little Bluetooth speaker, with good bass and plenty of volume. I had bought it used, so I got it at a nice price. But the batteries in these units only last so long, and eventually mine wouldn't hold a charge for very long. This battery brought my TDK back to life, and once again it runs just fine on battery. Replacing the battery is easy, once you buy the little Torx screwdriver needed to take off the bottom of the TDK. Wal*Mart sells a little electric screwdriver set ($10) that includes the correct size Torx driver. That plus this battery is all that is needed to bring the TDK, which retails for over $100 new, back to life.

This speaker produces great sound for its size. The base is better than any other speaker I've heard in this size range. Don't get me wrong, it's not equivalent to a high end speaker with 12 or 15 inch woofers, but for something this small, it sounds great. It's a little heavy for a portable speaker, probably because the speaker magnets are large and the battery is somewhat heavy so that the speaker can produce fairly loud sound for 3 1/2 to 4 hours. It's important to place the speaker about a foot or so away from a wall so that the sound coming from the rear is properly reflected.

I bought one of these and it worked OK. I bought a second one for my son and the charger was dead on arrival. The seller refused to replace the defective part. Beware of buying these from R2RStores. I believe they sell defective merchandise.
